Exhibition Catalog. The joint exhibition of Jaakko Liikanen (b. 1949) and Pekka Paunila (b. 1949) was on display at the Finnish Glass Museum from May 15 to October 11, 2009. After comprehensive periods of study and apprenticeship, Jaakko Liikanen worked in various glassworks, participating in teams, or studios, creating works for many renowned artists. Alongside his professional development, this also opened up avenues for him in the world of design. Pekka Paunila has a colorful work history as an artist. He is a glassblower from Riihimäki and belongs to a family of glassblowers, grinders, and master glassmakers with a lineage dating back over 200 years.
